Wollongong SLSC and the Bondi Icebergs
About
Since the 1950's the Bondi Icebergs and Wollongong City Surf Life Saving club have been competing for the "Ted Tobin" trophy. The hosting alternates between the Icebergs pool and the Wollongong City Surf Life Saving club https://www.wollongongcityslsc.com.au and is swum at the Continental Pool in Wollongong.
The "Ted Tobin" is a brace relay consisting of the clubs 2 fastest swimmers. The fastest team wins.
We also swim for a second trophy, "Noel Scubert", which consists of 10 swimmers aside and for some unusual reason the result is ALWAYS a tie.
